Customer Service Agreement & Terms and Conditions
Custom Detailing
By booking a service, making payment, submitting a booking request, or delivering a vehicle to Custom Detailing, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Services
Custom Detailing provides professional automotive services, including but not limited to:
- Paint Protection Film (PPF)
- Thermal Window Tint
- Ceramic Coating
- Paint Correction & Polishing
- Interior & Exterior Detailing
- Vehicle Protection Services
- Additional automotive cosmetic services
2. Vehicle Inspection
Before any work begins, the vehicle will be inspected and photographed.
Existing scratches, dents, paint defects, stone chips, cracked glass, damaged trim, wheel damage, previous paintwork, or any other visible defects may be documented.
The customer acknowledges that the vehicle is submitted in its current condition and that Custom Detailing is not responsible for any pre-existing damage or defects.
3. Payments
- Full payment is required before any work begins.
- No work will commence until payment has been received and confirmed.
- Any additional services requested after work has started will be quoted separately and must be paid in full before vehicle delivery.
- Prices apply only to the services listed in the approved quotation or invoice.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Before Work Begins: Appointments may be cancelled before work starts. If payment has already been made and no work has commenced, any refund will be processed in accordance with applicable laws and after deducting any non-recoverable costs already incurred.
After Work Has Started: Once any installation, detailing, polishing, tinting, coating, or protection service has commenced, the service is considered accepted and no refund will be provided for completed or partially completed work, except where required by the applicable laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
After Vehicle Delivery: Once the customer has inspected, accepted, and collected the vehicle, no refund shall be provided for completed services except where required by applicable Saudi law.
5. Customer Acceptance
The customer is responsible for inspecting the vehicle upon collection. Collection of the vehicle confirms acceptance of the completed work unless any concern is reported before leaving the premises.
6. Warranty
Warranty coverage applies only in accordance with the warranty issued for the purchased product or service.
The warranty does not cover:
- Accidents or collisions
- Stone impacts
- Misuse or abuse
- Improper washing or maintenance
- Neglect
- Chemical damage
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications
- Damage caused by third parties
- Normal wear and tear
Failure to follow the recommended maintenance and aftercare instructions may void the warranty.
7. Paint Protection Film (PPF)
The customer understands and agrees that:
- Paint Protection Film is designed to reduce damage but cannot prevent all forms of damage.
- Severe impacts, accidents, sharp objects, chemicals, misuse, or abuse may damage the film.
- Minor edge visibility, relief cuts, seams, and small dust particles within accepted industry standards are normal and do not constitute installation defects.
- Vehicles with previous repainting, body repairs, or poor paint condition may produce different installation results.
- Removal of PPF from previously repainted panels may result in paint lifting. Custom Detailing is not responsible for paint failure caused by previous repairs or repainting.
8. Window Tint
The customer understands that:
- Small water bubbles, haze, or moisture immediately after installation are normal.
- Windows should remain closed during the recommended curing period.
- The appearance of the tint will improve after the curing process is complete.
9. Vehicle Storage
Customers should collect their vehicle promptly after being notified that the work has been completed. Vehicles remaining at our facility for more than seven (7) days after notification may be subject to storage charges. Vehicles left uncollected for an extended period may be handled in accordance with applicable laws after reasonable notice to the customer.
10. Completion Time
Estimated completion dates are provided for convenience only. Completion times may be affected by: additional repair requirements, material availability, supplier delays, technical issues, weather conditions, or events beyond our reasonable control. Such delays shall not constitute a breach of this agreement.
11. Personal Property
Customers must remove all personal belongings before leaving their vehicle with Custom Detailing. Custom Detailing is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings left inside the vehicle.
12. Media Consent
The customer grants Custom Detailing the unrestricted right to photograph and record the vehicle before, during, and after service. These images and videos may be used for: Social Media, Website, Advertising, Marketing, Promotional Campaigns, Educational Content, and Portfolio Purposes. Vehicle registration numbers and personal information may be concealed at Custom Detailing's discretion. No compensation shall be payable to the customer for such use.
13. Vehicle Transportation (Truck Service)
If the customer chooses transportation through a third-party towing or transport company:
- Transportation is performed solely by the third-party transport provider.
- The transport provider is solely responsible for cargo insurance during transportation.
- Any claims relating to transportation damage, theft, delays, accidents, or losses must be handled directly between the customer and the transport provider and/or its insurance company.
- Custom Detailing shall not be responsible or liable for any incident occurring while the vehicle is in the custody of the transport provider.
14. Limitation of Liability
Custom Detailing shall not be liable for: pre-existing defects, hidden damage, previous body repairs, previous paint repairs, paint lifting caused by previous repainting, rust beneath paint, manufacturer defects, mechanical failures unrelated to our services, electrical failures unrelated to our services, damage caused by third parties, or events beyond our reasonable control, including force majeure. Where permitted by law, Custom Detailing's liability shall be limited to the value of the service provided.
15. Customer Responsibilities
The customer confirms that: they are the legal owner of the vehicle or have full authority to authorize the requested services, all information provided is accurate and complete, any known issues affecting the vehicle have been disclosed before work begins, and they understand the purpose and limitations of automotive detailing and paint protection products.
16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Nothing contained in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Saudi law.
17. Acceptance of Terms
By selecting the checkbox "I have read and agree to the Custom Detailing Terms & Conditions" on our website or digital booking platform, the customer confirms that they:
- Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
- Agree to the payment, cancellation, and refund policies.
- Authorize Custom Detailing to perform the requested services.
- Consent to the use of photographs and videos of their vehicle for marketing and promotional purposes.
- Accept the transportation terms when selecting third-party truck transportation.
- Confirm that they are the owner of the vehicle or have the legal authority to authorize the requested services.
- Agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.
